Clear Pine

To the north of town, not quite a mile away, is the Clear Pine Development. Clear Pine is a Planned Community which backs to the National Forest Service and BLM land. 

The name Clear Pine comes from the high quality, clear lumber that was produced in the area up until the 1960’s. The old-growth Ponderosa Pine Mill is long gone, but its namesake has lived on here.
