I came across an article in Woodshop News a few weeks ago that shared that White is still the most popular color for kitchen cabinets. It further said that Black and Dark Gray are in hot pursuit. Of late, the alternative to offset the white cabinets has been to paint or stain an island in dark green, blue, gray, or black. For years, matte black or oiled bronze hardware was the standard. Now gold and gaudy are the trend, along with chrome.
